Full Day Young Fives (TK)
The CLF Young Fives Mandarin Immersion program is designed to give the gift of time to youngest kindergartners, providing them with an additional year to develop their Mandarin Chinese and other skills that will put them on the path to academic success in elementary school.
An extra year can have a huge impact on a child’s social & emotional development — in particular, for children whose birthdays land in the second half of the calendar year (July-December). Students must turn five years old by December 31 to enroll.
The small size of the Young Fives class allows for individual attention, ensuring students are developing the necessary social, emotional and academic skills to enter kindergarten confident and eager to learn. The curriculum used in the Young Fives program is developed with the guidance of California Kindergarten state standards.
The program is from Mondays to Fridays, from 9am to 2pm. Extended care is available from 2-6pm.
