Autumn Adventures at Webb Ranch Farm from Panda Class

On October 14, our PreK Panda students spent a wonderful day taking in the crisp autumn air and vibrant seasonal colors during their field trip to Webb Ranch Farm.

The excitement was palpable as the students climbed aboard the tractor, taking in the sights of fields and trees painted in shades of orange and gold. Throughout the trip, our little explorers immersed themselves in hands-on learning and active outdoor adventures. At the pumpkin patch, each student proudly hunted for their very own pumpkin to take home, beaming with pride as they held up their choices.

Bringing their classroom lessons to life, our eager "corn scientists" closely observed the corn field, proudly pointing out and identifying the different parts of the corn plants—including the male and female flowers—just as they had learned in class earlier.

The outdoor activities brought endless energy and joy. The obstacle course was an absolute hit, giving the children a fantastic opportunity to challenge themselves and practice their resilience. They also took on the twists and turns of the corn maze, which brought out warm teamwork, non-stop giggles, and a proud sense of accomplishment when everyone made it through together.

Days like today remind us why experiential learning is so powerful. It was a wonderful opportunity for our PreK students to explore, collaborate, and connect deeply with nature. We couldn't be prouder of our Panda students' curiosity, enthusiasm, and growing resilience, and we are already looking forward to our next big adventure!
