5th Graders' field trip to learn about environmental conservation
The Flying Dragon Class took a field trip on October 24th at the Palo Alto Junior Museum , to explore the water sewage process in relation to their current social science theme about environmental conservation. During the trip, the students learned about the different steps of the water filtration process, including aeration, coagulation and sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection, and reflected on the importance of preventing pollution. 4th Graders' Learning About How Eyes Work
On October 17th, the 4th graders in the Koi Class took a fascinating trip to the Palo Alto Junior Museum, where they dove into the science of sight by dissecting real cow eyes.
