Celebrating Growth, Community, and Big Milestones: A Look Back at Our Year-End Graduation! 🎓✨

What an incredible way to wrap up the school year! Our recent year-end graduation ceremony was a beautiful, heartfelt celebration of our students’ growth, learning, and the tight-knit community that makes Cornerstone so special.

From start to finish, the energy in the room was electric. One of the absolute highlights was seeing our students confidently take the stage to perform in both Chinese and English, beautifully showcasing their bilingual skills and expressive talents.

🌟 Class Highlights: From Rainforests to Time Travel

Our Kindergarten through 4th-grade students proudly shared the stage to highlight some of their favorite learning journeys from the year:

🦛 Kindergarten: Took us on a wild adventure, sharing everything they learned about rainforests and diverse ecosystems.

🐿️ 1st Grade blended the beauty of traditional Chinese poetry with the joy of music through captivating sing-along songs.

🐻 2nd Grade presented Chinese idiom stories, including “亡羊补牢” (It’s never too late), “自相矛盾” (The spear and the shield), and ““刻舟求剑” (Carving a boat to seek a sword). Each idiom story showcased the deep meaning of life and wisdom to handle challenges and difficulties. These stories beautifully demonstrated the students' social-emotional learning and life-long lessons.

🦅 3rd Grade: Showcased incredible collaboration by writing and performing a beautiful poem in Chinese. They shared thoughtful reflections on how time can fly or drag depending on the moment, reminding us all to make every second count.

🐟 4th Grade: Powered up the stage with energetic music and dance, our stage became full of vitality because of their performance.

To cap off their performances, every single class offered warm wishes and cheers to our graduating 5th graders as they prepare to take on middle school! 🚀

Next, the spotlight turned to our 5th-grade graduates. They delivered deeply personal, heartfelt speeches reflecting on their years at Cornerstone, the lessons they’ve learned, and the memories they will cherish forever. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as they expressed sincere gratitude to their parents, families, teachers, and peers for supporting them every step of the way.

🎶 A Moving Finale

The ceremony reached an emotional high point when all of our students gathered together on stage for a group performance. Together, they sang “You Raise Me Up” leaving everyone with a powerful reminder of our school's strength, resilience, and unity.

We are so incredibly proud of our students, grateful for our families, and excited for the adventures ahead.
