Cornerstone Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration

The Mid-Autumn Festival, which celebrates family reunion, is the second biggest holiday in Chinese culture. On the evening of Friday, September 29, Cornerstone hosted its second Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration to bring members of the Cornerstone community together to enjoy each others’ company. The celebration activities included tasting mooncakes, creating lantern crafts, and enjoying lively performances from our students. The audience enjoyed both individual class performances and individual performances during the family talent show. We were so impressed by the talent exhibited by our community and the bravery exhibited by our young learners to go up on stage to perform. We enjoyed a variety of performances that night, including different musical performances and poetry recitals. At the end, everybody went outside to admire the full moon, which was at its brightest that night. With over 200 people in attendance, Cornerstone’s Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration was a rousing success!
