Game On! Celebrating Spirit and Community at Cornerstone’s Sports Day

At Cornerstone, we firmly believe that physical fitness and good sportsmanship are the cornerstones of a well-rounded education. On April 24, our community demonstrated these values in action during Sports Day!

The excitement started weeks ago as students were divided into eight spirited teams. In a display of mentorship and school pride, each team was headed by a fifth-grade leader.

When the big day arrived, the energy was electric as each group performed their cheers to kick off the festivities!

Our students truly shone across a variety of sports and games, demonstrating exceptional leadership, resilience, and collaborative problem-solving. It was inspiring to see such high levels of sportsmanship on display.

The competitive spirit extended to our families as well, with parents and coaches going head-to-head in a thrilling basketball game and a grueling tug-of-war match. We also took great pride in the teamwork showcased during our specialized parent-student basketball and badminton tournaments. The event culminated in a special awards ceremony, where we honored those who best embodied the spirit of the games.

This event was made possible by the unwavering dedication of our teachers, coaches, and parent volunteers. We cherish these moments that strengthen our school bonds and eagerly await our next celebration of unity and active living.
