Happy Lunar New Year! 

Lunar New Year fell on Saturday, February 10, this year. To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, Cornerstone community gathered at our Manuela Campus for a fun cultural celebration. 

In the weeks leading up to the celebration, each student worked diligently to create an enjoyable experience for their guests. Student work displays were prominently shown throughout the campus during this event and students proudly shared about their assignment and the learning process with their families. Our students hosted booths to allow our guests to participate in a diverse array of cultural activities including writing New Year blessings, practicing calligraphy, making sachets and coasters, fortune telling, and playing different cultural games. Throughout the festivities, families enjoyed delicious tangyuan handmade by our students and performances from different classes. 

Traditionally, the Year of the Dragon is characterized by courage, tenacity, and liveliness. We wish for everybody in our community to have a prosperous and lively Year of the Dragon!
