🍪 Sweet Success: Our Student Council-Led Bake Sale!
We are excited to share that the bake sale organized by our Grade 2–5 Student Council members on Tuesday, September 22nd, was a resounding success! Held in the park, the event attracted a enthusiastic crowd and caught the attention of many community passersby, whom our students warmly welcomed.
Our talented students rolled up their sleeves to prepare an incredible variety of treat—from baked delights like muffins, cookies, and chewy mochi cake, to refreshing non-baked options such as lemonade and jello. Demonstrating fantastic executive function, leadership, and business skills, the students took complete ownership of their booths by designing their own promotional posters and detailed food ingredient flyers.
Everyone worked together seamlessly—helping each other carry items, watching over the tables, and welcoming guests. The Student Council members actively applied creative business strategies to draw in customers and boost sales, even introducing special discounts and promotional offers toward the end of the event. Parents and kind community members stepped up to show their support through purchases and generous donations.
When it was time to wrap up, the children quickly and efficiently cleaned up the space, leaving the park tidy and organized. The entire process ran smoothly, giving our young leaders a fun, engaging, and hands-on opportunity to practice responsibility, teamwork, and real-world entrepreneurship!
