On October 17th, our PreK Panda Class kicked off the fall season with a joyful and adventure-filled field trip to Webb Ranch Farm. With crisp autumn air and colorful leaves all around, it was the perfect day for exploring, playing, and making unforgettable memories.
The day began with wide-eyed excitement as students boarded a tractor for a scenic ride through the farm. Laughter and curiosity filled the air as they rolled past fields and trees dressed in fall colors. Next stop: the pumpkin patch! Each student had the opportunity to choose their very own pumpkin to take home—a true highlight of the day.
From there, the fun continued with a fun train ride around the ranch, followed by an energetic run through an obstacle course that challenged their coordination and teamwork.
Before lunch, the kids burned off even more energy bouncing and climbing on inflatable slides and a bouncy house. After a picnic-style lunch, things slowed down a bit with a relaxing and creative pumpkin coloring session. Sitting right in the middle of the cornfield, students took time to observe their surroundings and sketch their own corn drawings—an adorable blend of art and nature.
The grand finale of the day? Conquering the corn maze! With plenty of giggles and a little bit of teamwork, our little explorers made their way through the twists and turns like champs. Our little Pandas had the great opportunity to become corn scientists! They observed the corn plants closely, identified the different parts, named the male and female flowers, and—for an extra bit of fun—got to sketch right in the corn field.
This special outing was more than just a fun day at the farm—it was a hands-on learning experience filled with seasonal joy, exploration, and creativity. We’re so proud of our Panda Class for their enthusiasm and curiosity, and we’re already looking forward to the next adventure!
