4th Graders' Learning about Chemical Changes

What a day for science! Our 4th grade class had an absolute blast at the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo on Friday, September 5th, where we traded our desks for beakers and took a deep dive into the wild world of chemical changes.

The kids weren't just reading about science—they were doing it! They got to see things bubble, fizz, and change colors right before their eyes, all while getting their hands dirty with real-life experiments. Their curiosity was off the charts! They jumped into every activity with such incredible energy and asked so many fantastic questions. It was amazing to see their little minds in action.
