On December 18, our Manuela Campus was transformed into a space filled with laughter, pride, and the unmistakable joy of learning. We concluded the first semester with a heartwarming Winter Fair hosted by our Kindergarten and Grade 1 students, followed by a series of delightful Winter Performances featuring our Pre-3, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st-grade classes.
The fair was a brilliant showcase of our students’ academic growth and hands-on discovery:
Kindergarten "Seed" Specialists: Our Kindergarteners shared their deep dive into the world of seeds. Through vivid bilingual displays and presentations, they confidently explained their scientific findings to parents in both languages, bridging the gap between curiosity and communication.
Grade 1 Entrepreneurial Market: Applying concepts from their Social Science curriculum, 1st graders brought the "Marketplace" to life. After studying supply and demand, pricing, and consumer requests, they created a mini-market featuring handmade holiday gifts and treats—including chocolate cakes, fruit cups, and custom fridge magnets. It was a masterclass in practical math and social studies.
Following the fair, the spotlight turned to our Pre-3 through Grade 1 students. Each and every child took to the stage with remarkable confidence. Through singing, dancing, and storytelling, they shared what they have learned throughout the semester. Watching our youngest learners perform with such poise and spirit was the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season.
This event was a testament to the vibrant holiday spirit that defines our school. We are so proud of our students for their hard work and grateful to our families for joining us to celebrate these milestones. What a wonderful way to head into the winter break!
