Bubbles, Baking Soda, and Blast-Off: 4th Grade Science in Action
Last Friday, September 4th, our fourth graders had the wonderful opportunity to extend their classroom learning about physical and chemical changes through hands-on science activities. The focus of this trip was on chemical changes, giving students the chance to enrich their knowledge with real-life experiments and close-up observations. During the activities, students divided into teams to create their own recipes mixing baking soda and vinegar in spray bottles, competing to see whose car could travel the furthest. The students showed great curiosity, asked thoughtful and analytical questions, and actively participated in every step of the process. It was an engaging day filled with teamwork, discovery, and plenty of excitement. We are so proud of our young scientists and look forward to seeing where their curiosity takes them next!
