Celebrating a Journey of Bilingual Excellence at Louis Campus

On December 19, the magic of learning came to life at our Louis Campus as students from Grades 2 to 5 hosted an unforgettable Winter Production.
The event began with an open classroom session, where students invited their parents to review their academic progress and share the milestones of their learning journey.
Our second graders turned scientific concepts into an interactive experience. Through creative skits and engaging games, they demonstrated the principles of sound and magnetism, challenging the audience to participate in their "scientific journey.
Third graders took us on a historical tour of Native American cultures across the U.S. They delved deep into the local Ohlone tribe, posing the thought-provoking question to the audience: "Can you survive as an Ohlone?" Their presentations highlighted the tribe's resilience and sustainable lifestyle.
Fourth graders explored the "Age of Reason." Through the lens of Captain Cook’s voyages, they led a sophisticated discussion on Enlightenment ideals, emphasizing the philosophical concept that "experience creates knowledge."
Fifth graders showcased a powerful rendition of the ancient Chinese story, Jiang Xiang He (将相和).
The talent show further electrified the atmosphere, featuring everything from mesmerizing magic tricks and elegant piano pieces to vibrant singing and dancing.
A highlight of the event was the Cross-Grade Buddy Program. Taking the initiative, these student groups gave the audience a masterful "language lesson," skillfully showcasing the nuances of grammar and vocabulary usage in both English and Chinese. To conclude the celebration, the entire student body joined their voices to recite the timeless poetry of Tao Yuanming, leaving the audience in awe.
